Mindful Listening *
Mindful listening means to hear both what is said as well as what is implied. It is to hear the words and the emotions underneath them without judgement. Mindful listening requires you to be fully present to engage your mind, heart, and body.
I listen openly, without distractions, and give my full attention.
I pay attention to nonverbal cues, and listen for what is being communicated beyond words.
As I listen, I observe my own reactions to what is being said and take them into account.
